To help impoverished women in Africa, we purchase their 100% handmade, unrefined shea butter that is used in all our products.
That way, any product you purchase makes a direct impact on the lives of the local women.
Our supplier works directly with the hardworking women in Ghana, not only ensuring that their shea butter is of high quality, but also that they are fairly paid, and are supported academically and financially.
Your purchase grants them an opportunity for sustainable income, micro-credit support, school fees, school uniforms and stationery, among other initiatives.
We hope to bring about female empowerment, lending strength to them so they can have a voice.
Meanwhile, we are exploring other ways to add value to other underprivileged groups.

environmental sustainability
We pledge to be good environmental stewards, while trying to make our products affordable for you.
We are constantly exploring ways we can continue reducing our packaging material usage (especially plastic), our suppliers’ packaging usage, as well as the carbon footprint for ingredients and finished products.
To encourage environmental sustainability, we would like to invite you to reuse your packaging after use, or take part in our zero waste project.
If that is not possible, dropping your used packaging off at the recycling bin would be the next best alternative.
economic sustainability
With each purchase, you contribute to sustaining the livelihoods of the farmers who provide the raw ingredients.
This is especially so for the women in Ghana, who made the shea butter, being paid above market price. The money flows into so many areas in their community, from healthcare to education.
